Once When I Was

I haven’t had much time to do any style posts lately. When I am so focused on pulling clothes for others I forget about myself.

It must be the California sunshine but I am obsessing over yellow these days.

I am getting used to this sunshine life. It’s the middle of November and I am wearing just a silk blouse, with my sleeves rolled up. Yeah, it’s nice. The roses in the courtyard don’t quit and the super-tall palm trees make me think of Muppets. Yes, always a kid at heart. Off to another lunch meeting, the blouse is on trend and a little bit punk-rock with the studded shoulders. Wide leg jeans are now easy to get away with since I am always wearing heels because driving is easy and I am not trudging through the subways anymore. I am getting used this. Slowly the homesickness fades.

Mixing patterns and stripes with this thrifted Liz Claiborne sweater and and cat skirt I found at 4getmenotshop on Etsy.  Keeping it colorful with these ASOS monkstraps that I am obsessed with. 

You feel that?  It’s sunshine.  And it is beginning to happen on the regular.  I found this wacky cat skirt on Etsy in Emily Osborne’s 4getmenotshop and I figured what goes hand in hand but cats and sunshine?

Now I am super jealous I missed this show.  Wanna trade the tire tracks for paradise?  Thank goodness I am leaving for Florida sunshine in 3 days.  Yay!

Can I talk about how obsessed I am with my Tom Ford Clothilde purple sunglasses?  I paired them with my @HydenYoo peacoat and vintage blouse and scarf.  Sunshine on a cold, crisp day.

My countdown to holiday starts now.  in less than a week I will be in San Sebastian, Spain trying to get some color on my pale face and translucent legs.  yippee!!!
