Are they rocks? Is it wood? Some sort of gemstones? I don’t know! What I do know is that I can’t stop thinking about these rings I tried on by Lydia Marcos during LA market week.

These rings are killing me. I’m reading the second Game Of Thrones book and everything I see relates.

There is something that feels so warrior woman to me about these pieces from Lillian Crowe’s Silk Road collection. It could be the arrowheads. Or that the pyramids make me think about Cleopatra. Whatever the imagery is that spins in my brain when I try these talisman on it is empowering. Isn’t that the one of the best things about jewelry?

What is wrong with me?! I can’t get enough jewelry. Every time I visit a showroom there is another amazing jewelry collection I instantly want to wear. I came across JNB (Jaqueline Nicole Brown) and was charmed by the the raw druzys, vintage vibes and sweet elephants.
The styles show above are coming out in the spring but here is the link to shop her current collection which has lots of druzy rings and earrings and enough crystal beaded bracelets you will be up to your elbows before you know it.
And she is a girl after my heart with this rad tumblr.

I got the chance to visit my pals @OBEYGiant last week. Of course there was a ton of cool art everywhere but naturally I was drawn to the jewelry. Did you know OBEY Clothing has edgy and bohemian styles to channel your inner Stevie Nicks? No, well, now you do. That pyramid ring is even on sale right now.

Visited the showroom of The Shiny Squirrel last week and tried on some killer new pieces! @NettieKentJewel has delicate #tribal vibes (top + bottom L), statement #necklace from @wxyzjewelry by @laura_wass and #crystals for hoops and rings from @TOUJOURSTOI @toujourstoi_familyaffairs (Taken with Instagram at the shiny squirrel)

Going dotty this week with @sallyhansen #nails for #nyfw because #B&W goes with everything (Taken with Instagram)

@ladygrey has such a fantastic #crystal black, white and grey collection. How can you pick just one?
Things I love about WANDERLUSTER jewelry:
Spikes and Sparkles.
The palest green with brown horn combo.
Resin crystal formations = super light weight and won’t put you in debt.
Super woman Rammy Lee Park is a triple threat: Jewelry designer, Writer and Filmmaker.

I love touching and petting. I know that sounds weird but it’s true. When I first meet someone I usually touch something that the person is wearing. Could be a sweater, scarf or necktie. I can’t help it. You know what might help? This vintage fur ring from Dallas Maynard. I could keep my hands to myself with this little bit of tactile stimulation.
Got the same problem? Here is the link for the ring. And follow Dallas Maynard on tumblr!

In need of stacking rings? Look no further. Try these classic single bands or the negative space double bands from @ALIBINYC that I discovered @capsuleshow.

Tied up in love when I tried on this @MachaJewelry big gold knot ring @Capsuleshow. Dontcha think it goes great with my Anna Sheffield engagement?
Macha Jewelry has a wonderful assortment of signet rings, ID bracelets and raw, rough edged pieces for guys and dolls.

This peek into some of the twisty rings from Alberto Juan was a highlight of my day @CapsuleShow ! Fantastic! @Sneller8190

Yesterday I went to visit Anna Sheffield who has the excellent jewelry line BingBang in her studio in SOHO for a meeting about designing my engagement ring. Yes, I am choosing my own ring, my man knows I am a jewelry fanatic and if I am to wear this ring for the rest of my days it might as well be conjured up by me.
I first heard about Anna’s foray into bridal last season when she had a show for her new collection. I knew it would be vintage and modern all rolled into one sparkly package. She is a like-minded hippie punk girl after my own heart with an affinity to unicorns, feathers, turquoise and spikes. Our discussions ranged from how to rebel from hippie parents, moving in NYC, hoarding -slash- collecting, her tumblr and of course the upcoming fashion week.
I’m not going to give it away completely about what we came up with but from my pictures I am sure you can get the gist of it. I can say without a doubt this is not you average engagement ring.
