It’s with great pleasure that we unveil to you the new video for “Safe and Sound” on VEVO, directed by Grady Hall from Motion Theory and choreographed by Mandy Moore (Silver Linings Playbook).
Watch as exuberant dancers from various eras and cultures participate in a dance off inspired by Capital Cities and the majestic setting of the Los Angeles Theatre.
I had the pleasure of working with the talented group Capital Cities on the music video for the single Safe and Sound. I had such a fun time styling these great guys. Get ready for your new favorite summer jam!
Check out the latest sneaker wedge style from Koolaburra. This one will be available in October. I had so much styling Iulia from Elite on the Highline with Juan Algarin shooting my final gig before my packing for my move to LA.
I put the gorgeous Esther in the All Saints Oyster dress. That’s what I call a #martini shot #dayinthelife #fashionstylist #commercials #realestatedreams #cityview #nyc #skyline #models (Taken with Instagram)
Oh hey y’all. I’m in the annual @Refinery29 next big Style Blogger contest. You know what, I want to win. The prize is a tour of America’s top flea markets. Might not sound like much to some people, but to me, that is Ah-May-Zing! So please, click that button to the left and vote for me on Refinery29.com by giving me a heart/like. You know you want to see what glorious baubles I can scrounge up across this great nation’s markets of fleas.
Yesterday I died and went to shoe heaven when I got to visit the super chic Ce Ce Chin’s studio for her street savvy collection 80%20. You can see my love of her rocker styles here and a boho vibe here from style posts last year.
She was kind enough to let me choose a few styles. It was not easy. But after much hemming and hawing I settled on two styles for Spring (or a holiday this winter!) and a sick pair of ikat wedge booties. As I was trying on multitudes of styles I kept exclaiming, “these are sooo comfortable!”. Any true city girl knows that no matter how sexy and cool the shoes are they need to be wearable. Not all of us are hailing taxis to and fro. Nope, it’s called the subway, and we ride it.
