NYC fashion events bring you to places you might not visit and I am here to share it with you. When I passed the New Museum on Bowery and walked into The Bowery DIner I realized it was the perfect venue for the 75th anniversary party of iconic sneaker brand PF Flyers. The retro details of The Bowery Diner was ideal for the throw back style of the updated classic kicks. They served us delicious food and potent cocktails (try my namesake the JenniLee) while I caught up with some of my favorite associates like the Hungry Editor and Samia from HighSnobette and Rudy from Cockpit.

I was in great company as part of the Project Bloggers this season. It was nice to get to know and reconnect with these savvy and fashionable folks. Find all their links below.

It doesn’t matter how tired you are from indulging in Las Vegas the night before; the energy at Project just lifts you up. I think this photo explains why. Create. A fair share of the people at Project are the designers and creative directors for new and well know brands. The guys over at Kasil Workshop and !iTEM Denim spent a better portion of the day working with spools of thread to promote this idea. It is exciting to be at Project because there is this buzzing feeling you get about finding new sh*t directly from the people making it.

The space is vast and I can tell you I always get turned around, mixed up and lost. I was constantly running off to find a booth and getting sidetracked by running into another person to scoop me away and show me the latest product.

When I reconnected with my pals over at The Foundation showroom who rep my absolute favorite head phones UrbanEars, I was super stoked because they were kind enough to give me a new pair in the colorway Sage. The sound is excellent and I find the Medis to be the most comfortable buds that stay put in my tiny ears.

Denim rules at Project Show. By far the best booths are the major denim brands. Check back with me and I will give a detailed account of my favorites. It’s not all clothes and gear at Project Show; there was a manicure bar set up to get super tricked out nails courtesy of NCLA. Here are fellow blogger GetJanet’s killer custom “I Don’t Play Nice” set by Melody Ehsani.

There is so much to take in and it can get you feeling a bit delirious when you see orange men and giant headed kitties but it all lends to the wild and outrageous vibe that is Project Show.

Check back for more recaps on Project Wooster and Sneak Peeks at some of my favorite brands like AG Adriano Goldshmied, MiH Jeans, Melissa Shoes and Alexis Bittar Jewelry.
A big thank you goes out to Marcus Troy for gathering and including me in such a great group of creative and innovative bloggers.
