Here I go again, rambling on about another jewelry designer. But that’s ok, that’s what I am here for, right. (Please say yes, to validate my blogging existence.) If I see it and I love it; why wouldn’t I share it? Meet Bones and Feathers.
I got a chance to view the Spring ‘13 collection (in the blue boxes) that has an art deco influenced but balanced with an earthy sensibility filled with arrowheads and cosmic geometric patterns.
The Fall ‘12 pieces are a bit more literal to the brand name with vertebrae and bone castings and are available on their site. A major statement piece is the snake bone necklace. I especially loved the blue cylinder pieces with rattlesnake vertebrae bracelet (top left).
I was also pleased to hear that the jewelry is all made in LA. Since moving here from NY, I have to say, it is really refreshing to meet so many designers that are producing here in the US.

Straight from the fairy forest to the runway.

Amy Poehler looks fab in this laser cut leather and feather Fotini gown but why couldn’t her stylist just go for the gold and get her in McQueen?
Just sayin’.

Florence Welch and Cate Blanchett (both in McQueen) at the Costume Gala, May 7th
High point of this Gala was definitely these two Pre-Raphaelite goddesses together, blinding us with their pale beauty.
#truth.

Diane Kruger in Prada at the 2012 Costume Gala, May 7th
This just made me even more excited to see what she’s going to wear as a juror member at Cannes.
First of all she looks amazing. Second of all, she looks COMFORTABLE.

Sometime you get dressed and you can’t do more than pick out your simplest, most basic pieces to get you out the door on time (if you are like me, that is). The key to making those outfits shine with personality is everything else; The Accessories. Here is a preview of what’s in store for FW’12.

Over sized hats are not going away thankfully and here is a beautiful teal topper from the classic kids at Kangol.

Bags are always a great option to be on-trend without buying into a full look of something. Azaya Blue makes such fun neon and studded options. The Navajo print is still going strong but you should get it from the leaders of the pack with the Dopp bag from Pendleton Woolen Mills.

Perhaps you are more interested in something a bit more exotic. Steal from the boys with this Parabellum doctor bag I found at Project Wooster.

Another obsession of mine are scarves. Especially bright over-sized ones! These Kapital ones were lovingly placed at Project Wooster.

Why be boring with a plain iPhone case when you can get the best ones from Incase. I love the new Andy Warhol ones.

Happy Socks came by the ProjectBlogger’s table and gave us their Project Show exclusive. You can get happy with all these dotty styles here.

You didn’t think I’d post an accessories round up without any shoes? Of course not. I saved the best for last. Get a load of these claw boots by Friend of Mine. They come in grey too, if you wondering.
Click links for shopping! And if you want to thank me for the sneak peeks I wear a size 6 in those Claw boots. Hint Hint.
