I love the excitement in the city on Fashion Night Out. I always bounce around downtown to a bunch of different places, drinking in shops and on the street while randomly running into friends. I am definitely sad to be missing out this season. If there was one event I know I would have loved to go to it would be this.
Alexis Bittar x Karaoke and Cocktails!! Sounds like the perfect evening to me. Please someone go tomorrow night and sing a song for me. I am sure it will be Absolutely Fabulous.
NYC fashion events bring you to places you might not visit and I am here to share it with you. When I passed the New Museum on Bowery and walked into The Bowery DIner I realized it was the perfect venue for the 75th anniversary party of iconic sneaker brand PF Flyers. The retro details of The Bowery Diner was ideal for the throw back style of the updated classic kicks. They served us delicious food and potent cocktails (try my namesake the JenniLee) while I caught up with some of my favorite associates like the Hungry Editor and Samia from HighSnobette and Rudy from Cockpit.

Last week Paul Smith celebrated his 25th anniversary of dressing daring and witty men from his boutique on 5th avenue and 16th street. The store was packed wall to wall with gorgeous people from all our favorite #menswear magazines and blogs. It was nice to see so many old friends. Being in that shop is a blast from my styling past. Man, have things changed! When I first started styling the showroom used to be in the basement of this little shop. Going down the roped off stairwell with vintage rock photographs and posters lining the walls always made me feel like I was a part of a secret rock n roll club. Here is a peek into the shop.
For a peek into Paul’s life follow his blog here! To peep Patrick McMullan’s party pics with Pat Fields, Grace Coddington, Patti Smith and Norman Reedus click HERE.

D & G beauty event with Pat McGrath
If you are in NYC this Saturday go visit my friend Michelle; one of the best make up artists I get to work with. She will be at Saks Fifth Avenue with make up artist extraordinaire Pat McGarth for Dolce & Gabbana cosmetics from 12 to 5pm.
Go on girls, get your summer looks on.
