I’m having one of those Isabella obsession moments.
April 2, 2012: Ghost of Love by David Lynch.
Acclaimed filmmaker and musician David Lynch recently released his debut solo album and has been causing a stir with the video for his new single, “Crazy Clown Time,” but my favorite Lynch (musical) release is probably his 2007 single Ghost of Love, which features an equally good b-side, “Imaginary Girl,” that I highly recommend checking out as well. Not familiar with Lynch’s work? For god’s sake, go rent Twin Peaks immediately!
Good morning! a lil David Lynch lovin’ this morning.

nevver: “We think we understand the rules when we become adults but what we really experience is a narrowing of the imagination.” — David Lynch
Don’t let it happen!

Dark things have always existed but they used to be in a proper balance with good when life was slower. People lived in towns and small farms where they knew everybody and people didn’t move around so much so things were a little more peaceful. There were things that they were afraid of for sure, but now it’s accelerated to where the anxiety level of the people is in the stratosphere. TV sped things up and caused people to hear way more bad news. Mass media overloaded people with more than they could handle, and drugs also had a lot to do with it. With drugs people can get so rich and whacked out and they’ve opened up a whole weird world. These things have created a modern kind of fear in America.

How badly do I want this? As badly as Agent Cooper wanted coffee & pie. As badly as Bob wanted to take over Leland. As badly as Laura wanted to be good.
It’s called Walk With Bob by Tim Biskup featured In The Trees: TWIN PEAKS 20th Anniversary Art Exhibit.
I think it’s still for sale here. Will you buy it for me?

The Twin Peaks buttons excited me so much that I had to search my photos of the Twin Peaks fashion story I styled for BUST magazine a few years back. I couldn’t find any of the real photos but I found a couple behind the scenes.

I found the photos me dressed as Laura Palmer (dead, wrapped in plastic) with and without my whole crew who I got to be Agent Cooper & the Log Lady. We found a Brittany Spears who looked a lot like an Audrey so we hijacked her for our photo op.

Last photo is of me with the amazing actor Ray Wise who played Leland Palmer. I got the pleasure to work on a film with him a every day ask him another question about David Lynch and Twin Peaks mysteries.
