Once When I Was

Yesterday you got a peek into the showroom of BPMW*** but I know you want to see the goods too.  Here are a few of my favorite pieces from the FW12 collection of Stussy. 

For me, growing on the beach in Hollywood, Florida is was all about crushing on those surfer-skate rats.  I will forever love the classic Stussy logo because it immediately brings me back to being 13 and stealing boys tee shirts on the beach while they were surfing.

An interesting aspect of being a stylist is that you get invited to many different showrooms, shops and events.  Here is a peek inside the showroom of the taste-makers behind We Are The Market and (capsule) show.  The showroom at BPMW is like no other, the rooms are decorated with vintage photos, chandeliers and taxidermy that make it a unique experience when it comes to pulling samples for shoots.  Everything is always well thought-out, even down to the delicious food served during their events and press previews, courtesy of Sips and Bites.  Last of all, I have to mention the people behind the scenes. They are my favorite type of fashion folks, straight shooters who are stylish and witty.  What more can ask for when you spend your day running around the city?
