Sheryl Crow for Bloomingdale’s The Pink Book.
Photographer: Ben Watts
Wearing Rebecca Taylor sequin dress and Theory leather motorcycle jacket.
Styled by moi.

Once When I Was styling this summer I had the pleasure to work with Sheryl Crow on the Bloomingdale’s Pink Book that was shot by Ben Watts at Milk Studios.
It’s weird, I don’t get shy around musicians at all but get me near photographers I admire and I tend to be a bit quiet and reserved. It was so easy to be comfortable working with Sheryl; she was gracious, down to earth and all around lovely. Ben had a crew of super cute and friendly assistants and he had the best energy on set but I never let him know how I was so very excited to work with him. (Now I am saying it, at the comfort of my keyboard!)
It was a busy summer of back to back shoots prior to moving out to LA and this was a highlight for sure.
Just booked a job for next week with my old pal Juan Algarin who shot these Bloomingdale’s stories with me way back when. So great to reconnect with talented, fun and nice people.

Every girl on set wants this #pink @aqua cashmere sweater only @bloomingdales in fall (Taken with Instagram at dune studios)

These @bodakosta lipstick + nail polish paperweights are so cute. On the job @bloomingdales pink book. (Taken with Instagram)

As you may have noticed from the recent #dayinthelife posts I am working on a Bloomingdale’s job. While I can’t divulge any details about the shoots (you will have to wait until October) I can say there is a great musician involved, a wonderful cause and of course, amazing fashion.
What I can share is some old images from a shoot I did for Bloomingdale’s where we shot baby-doll dresses in a recycling plant. Weird, I know!

Why would you throw out Thriller?!?

This was straight up mean of us to do to her. Did I mention it was freezing?

I love the love bracelet in the photo @prabalgurung chose for the cfda / ny times 50 photos exhibit @bloomingdales nyc
New work! I just got in the images from a story I did for Bloomingdale’s Little Pink Book. Here are a few of the cute holiday dresses. You can see the full story on my website in the advertising section.
