dnatheshop: What We Love:Frida Gustavsson for Louis Vuitton Resort 2013
Sunday is for reblogging.

Ohhh, look who is back. Matsuda Eyewear was super popular in the 80’s and early 90’s and it is perfect timing for a major comeback. The Luxury Japanese eyewear brand teamed up with director Chris Greco to create a dreamy and conceptual video for the new collection.
As for the new collection, I am especially into style 2808H from the Heritage Collection. Made with premium Japanese acetate and engraved sterling silver in a matte grey tortoise, it is so classic and chic. If I could wear round frames I would be all over the M1005 from the Sun Collection.

It was just snowing in NY and I feel guilty writing this but it’s about to be the weekend and since I have moved to LA I have not had a proper beach day yet. Sure, I have visited the beach when I’ve been near it. But there has not been a bikini-clad, beach towel and stack of magazines day. Alas, I am pretty sure this weekend it won’t happen. We are still in deep with getting the apartment in order.
I took a visit to see the new styles coming out in the Spring from O’neill and these four were my favorites. I look forward to the time when my life feels settled in and beach days are not just fantasies but regular life. In the meantime, you can cop any of these printed styles I found below on sale from O’neill now and start dreaming with me.

It is so sunny here in LA. I loved my shades in NYC but sometimes I knew it wasn’t even bright enough to justify wearing them all day. That is not the case here. I seriously can’t live with out them. The sun is headache inducing.

How chic is this Safari collection from Illesteva? The Safari collection is Hand Made in France and they developed these Animal Print color ways through a special Acetate blending Technique.

This release includes illesteva’s classic Albert, Franklin, Leonard 2 and French Frieda Silhouette.

Thank you @toms for the killer shades.
If you are obsessed with vintage like I am then you have know about Linda Derector. She has an amazing little shop in Nolita but if you can’t get to the actual shop she does have an online store where you can get the wildest vintage sunglasses to finish out this blazing hot summer.
